Google is based on algorithms and these algorithms do some calculations, we will mention here, on which these algorithms do calculations. We talk about Google algorithms, these algorithms have a certain pattern through which they extract information from your website and index it, show it in a useful way. We have to consider all these factors and it is not confirmed how many factors they are, but Google says that it is more than 200 factors that Google considers and decide what is the rank of your page whether it comes on the first page or another page.

We get a reference from some other source that Google considers some 10000 factors. Now we have to consider all these angles or factors as an SEO specialist and how they work.

The search engine will not publicly give information about these factors because it is a secret recipe of a Search Engine and Google or Search Engine uses this recipe to earn money or run their business.

If Google tells the people about its secret recipe then Google will not exist. What Google sees on a website to rank it if I know then I will design my site according to pattern and rank my site. If this information becomes public then everyone will for it and design their website according to that factors and there will be no uniqueness and the algorithms of Google will become die and Google will not exist. Google tries to hide this information.

What are these ranking factors

These factors include title, what is the title of your site, the content of your site and what information people looking for, is your information relevant to what people looking for, how many links exist on your site, how many back-links are given to your site. What is the loading time of the site, whether it load fast or slow, is it secure or not, is its design or layout optimize of mobile screen or not. There are a lot of such factors involve in the ranking of a site. The purpose of Google is usefulness and it will extract that information which will be useful for their visitors.

Today Google is very different what it is before 20 years, that time Google would show you only link and now Google show you maps, flight data, social media status, video search. For SEO of your site, you have to understand all these ranking factors and with time Google or other search engine change their ranking factors and you have to adapt it. SEO is only a single field where information becomes obsolete very quickly; it means that what you have studied today may not be applicable after some time. As the technology and information advance, Google introduces new ranking factors and it is clear then-new thing comes, the old thing becomes obsolete. We have to update ourselves with new advancements of Google.

On-Page Ranking Factors

It is all the information you have created on your website and you can control it. For example, while creating a website you will write a title for it, you will create its content, add photos or video, you will optimize its content and layout. Google first look at on-page factors then go for off-page factors.

Off-Page Ranking Factors

The factors which are off the page, means which are not on your page, it is on other’s page, it is called links building.

Technical SEO

It is technical factors that can be controlled by the developer and the factors on the server-side such as loading speed of a website which is a technical factor, other factors include SSL factor, IP of the website in another country.

It is considered that on-page play 30% in SEO while off-page plays 70% in SEO. On-page SEO is one-time work while off-page SEO is a continuous effort. Link building is called off-page optimization where someone wants information and you give his link for information, this is called ethical link building. When visitors come to that website and find your link for further information then the visitor will click the link and come to this website, so the traffic will increase in this way. So the combination of all the three categories of SEO makes a strong strategy for better performance and ranking.
